We use no-VOC hand rubbed oil-and-wax finishes unless otherwise specified.

Clean surfaces with a damp soft cloth and wipe dry. A mild cleanser be used as well. Wipe up spills immediately in order to avoid staining.  The use of coasters or trivets will protect surfaces from heat marks and water stains.

For oil finishes (* does not apply to lacquer): To remove marks and light surface scratches, apply a maintenance oil with a gray Scotchbrite pad or 0000 steel wool, going with the grain using equal pressure across the entire surface of the table. leave on for a few minutes and buff off with clean rags. Also apply the maintenance oil with a clean rag once a year, or whenever the surface can use a boost, to refresh the original finish.
